In collaboration with AMC Networks and AMC+, the Dark Winds series is based on Tony Hillerman’s Navajo Policemen novels. The series adaption provides a more accurate depiction of Navajo culture. These illustrations were comissioned for the Dark Winds merchandise on AMC web shop. They are derived from the series and my personal relationships with real Navajo Policemen and growing up on the Navajo Nation.
